This footage of Serena Williams playing tennis with her childhood self will make you weep

Serena Williams is returning to the US Open this week, and to celebrate, she teamed up with Nike for the most inspirational sports commercial ever. The video shows her as a young girl playing tennis with her dad, who was also her tennis coach, while he whispers in her ear, “This is you at the US Open” and then smash—it cuts to adult Williams at her various US Open victories.

The video is a beautiful illustration that the impossible is “only crazy until you do it,” invoking Nike’s famous catchphrase, “Just do it.” Williams shared the video on her Instagram and appropriately captioned it, “If you don’t dare to try and chase your dreams, you’ll rob yourself the joy of doing it. Don’t just dream it.”

If this video doesn’t give you goosebumps, we don’t know what will. Plus, we haven’t seen an Instagram comment section so positive in, well, ever.

“I think my life just changed!!!” wrote one fan. “So many feel good tears!” said another. “Goosebumps. You are supernatural,” added another.

This is Williams’ first US Open since giving birth to daughter Olympia, though Williams isn’t here for your “comeback” narrative.

"Lots of people have called this my 'comeback,'" she wrote on Instagram. "But becoming a mom isn't something I'm coming back from. It's part of who I am. It's been both incredibly amazing and incredibly tough, but it's only made me stronger. Especially because of the love and support you've all shown me."

The US Open takes place in New York from August 27th to September 9th. Williams’ coach Patrick Mouratoglou told The New York Times in February 2018 that Williams is “coming back because she believes she can win, otherwise, she wouldn’t be coming back.”

Hell yeah.
