Sephora is introducing a new, high-tech update to their stores
We can’t say enough great things about the convenience of shopping online, but when it comes to trying new makeup products, online shopping is often a hit-or-miss situation. Luckily, Sephora is looking to refine the way you buy makeup with their new concept stores, called Sephora Studios. The studios will be about 2,000 square feet, less than half the size of a typical 5,500-square-foot Sephora store, and will be located in stand-alone stores.
The makeup giant announced their plan to open these mini studios across the U.S. last Friday and is starting in Boston. Anyone up for a quick drive?
The new studios will offer on-demand, one-on-one services, including 45-minute makeovers and 15-minute mini-facials. You’ll also be given access to exclusive digital tools including a Moisture Meter and Skincare IQ quiz to help figure out your skin and its tricky undertones while customizing a skin-care regimen perfect for you. And as an added bonus, you’ll be able to grab those online purchases you made with same-day in-store pickups.
If that isn’t enough to get you out of your PJs and into a Sephora Studio, we’re not quite sure what will do the trick.
In a statement made previously, Calvin McDonald, CEO of Sephora Americas said, “The Studio merges the best of an inclusive neighborhood retail environment with best-in-class digital tools that enable our expert beauty advisors to customize recommendations on an individual basis.”
“There is no better way to create meaningful connections with clients than through personalized experiences and a customized approach to beauty, he continued.
Sephora has been around for almost 20 years, but the innovation just keeps coming. The company is always looking for new ways to make makeup even better, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll do next. Be sure to keep an eye out for a Sephora Studio near you!
