We LOVE that this high schooler made her senior photo a #tbt recreation
Taking school pictures can be nerve-racking. The picture will either haunt you or bless you for the entire school year — maybe even your entire life, depending on the outcome.
Unless of course, you decide to take matters into your own hands and make the picture exactly what you want it to be.
Which is exactly what one genius high schooler did for her senior picture.
17-year-old Tyra Hunt’s high school in Kentwood, Michigan allows students to be creative with their senior pictures (which, by the way, is super awesome). So she decided to recreate her kindergarten class picture, and the result is obviously amazing.
Hunt told Buzzfeed News that she didn’t want to get her picture taken on that fateful class picture day in kindergarten, so her mom coaxed her into smiling. And she ended up with one really awkward (but hilarious) photo that has been on display in her living room ever since (because her parents clearly know funny when they see it). false
To recreate the photo, Hunt bought a lime green sweatshirt that matched the original and did her hair in pigtails. And of course, she rocked the confused/bewildered/why-is-this-happening-to-me face.
The picture is so spot-on, it has blown up on Twitter with over 25K retweets and 75K likes.
Hunt started somewhat of a movement, because other seniors are posting their own “kindergarten-to-senior” pics on Twitter — and they’re all so perfect.
