The heart wants what it wants — and it appears Selena Gomez’s wants Zayn Malik! The pair was spotted getting hot and heavy at a SoHo restaurant in New York City late Friday night.
Fans are now casting their love nets after surfaced text messages from the alleged couple’s hostess confirm that Gomez and Malik walked into the eatery “hand in hand.”
“I just found out the craziest sh*t on my way home from work. Whatever I’m about to tell you guys, you heard it here first,” TikTok user @klarissa.mpeg teases in her video.
As waitresses at some of NYC’s most sought after restaurants, she explains, interacting with celebrities isn’t unusual for her and her friend. However, it isn’t every day a high profile actor brings in their crush — let alone mindlessly packs on PDA with an equally famous star.
The TikToker then cuts to a screenshot of exciting text messages between her and her friend, who sat the couple at an undisclosed restaurant.
“Are you ready for this???!” the friend asks via text before writing, “Tell me how Selena Gomez and Zayn just walked into [restaurant] hand in hand making out and I seated them.”

After a little investigating, the TikTok user discovers that Gomez is one of 18 people Malik follows on Instagram — and it goes both ways.
ET was able to speak to another eyewitness who corroborated the rumored fling.
“Selena and Zayn went out in SoHo in New York City last night at around 10:30 pm. They walked in holding hands and were kissing,” they confirmed. “Most restaurant staff and restaurant goers didn’t notice them. It seemed like they were comfortable together and it was clear that it was a date.”
Prior to Malik, Gomez was briefly linked to Chainsmokers’ Andrew Taggart. Don’t forget, Malik shares a daughter with model Gigi Hadid.
Neither Gomez nor Malik have commented on the status of their fiery romance.
