Selena Gomez shaved her hair, and we’re loving this daring look
Selena Gomez has undergone multiple hair changes in the past few months (remember how amazing she looked as a blonde?), but her latest edgy look just might be your favorite. The multi-hyphenate stepped out in Germany to celebrate her partnership with Puma with her hair pulled back into a braided ponytail. But that’s not the part we’re obsessed with (though the ponytail is good). It’s the fact that Selena Gomez’s head is partially shaved. You read that right, Selena Gomez has an undercut, and we’re living for it. In case you can’t believe the news, she posted the look on her Instagram.
Her longtime stylist Marissa Marino created the braided ponytail, and stylist Tim Dueñas did the triangle-shaped undercut. Her natural hair is currently cut in a shoulder-length bob (as evidenced by a recent Instagram), so Marino likely added extensions to create this dramatic ponytail.
Not going to lie, this is making us want to reach for hair clippers and get an undercut ourselves (metaphorically, of course — we’d save the actual buzz cutting for the professionals). And yes, we vibe how Gomez’s undercut was done in a triangular shape. It’s edgy yet sophisticated, just like our girl SelGo herself. Thanks, Selena, for bringing this variation to our attention.
