Selena Gomez posted (and deleted!) a video of The Weeknd on their Italian vacay

Whoa — don’t blink or you’ll miss it! Things are moving swiftly among the young Hollywood elite these days, specifically within the love triangle that is everyone’s favorite model, singer and actress. What’s going on here? Selena Gomez just posted a story of The Weeknd and herself sharing some alone time in Italy…moments before permanently deleting it. Was it fear of uproarious backlash (The Weeknd was very recently dating model and friend of Selena’s Bella Hadid), or just a paranoid pull of a personal video that she didn’t feel comfortable sharing? Either way, we want the deets. It’s not like we’re shocked that the two are an item; not after documented PDAs in everywhere from pizzerias to a Dave & Buster’s. Maybe “Instagram official” (IGO, if you will,) is just too official this early into things? What do you think?

The singer/actress is very active on Instagram, so a photo or video confirmation of the pair’s relationship status wouldn’t exactly be out of the question. The heart-eye emoji accompanying some footage of The Weeknd and Selena cruising along a canal Italy? What else do we really need?

Maybe it was a mistake, maybe it was just a little tease; rewarding those fans who are following Miss Gomez’ every move. Either way, we want more, and maybe we’ll have to be faster on our Instagram stories if we’re serious about it.

But then again, it’s not like they are hiding is. The Weeknd posted THIS on his Insta-story.
