Watching Selena Gomez surprise this lucky fan is making us the happiest

It’s easy to love Selena Gomez. The talented superstar consistently blows us away with both her mega-hits and her commitment to kindness.

But seeing her surprise adorable Australian super fan Sophie Saunders will make you love her on a whole new level.

Saunders is a 22-year-old who was one of the first to create both the Facebook and Instagram pages to get the singer to perform in Australia. She travels all over to see Selena perform (including internationally because she’s *that* committed to the singer).

KIIS 1065, a Sydney-based radio show called Kyle & Jackie O, decided to play a small (but wonderful) prank on Saunders. She thought she was recording a fan video that would be played for the DJs while they were interviewing Selena.

Instead, she was recording a video that would document the moment her hero showed up to her home to surprise her.

It’s hard to keep a dry eye as you see the genuine adoration between the two young women. While Saunders is (obviously) blown away by Selena’s star power, Selena is equally touched by her commitment to her music and seeing her performances.
