Selena Gomez resurfaces in Tennessee for the first time since lupus announcement
Selena Gomez popped in on the Texas Roadhouse in Alcoa, Tennessee Saturday for an afternoon meal in a totes adorbs sporty outfit, including a black bodysuit, skinny black jeans, and New York Yankees ballcap, and we love this look on her so much.
An eyewitness told E! News that she was super nice to everyone there. “She couldn’t have been more gracious to everyone and to the fans and was more than happy to take pictures with whoever.” Of course, we’re not at all surprised.
People were so excited to see her that they started a new hashtag to commemorate the occasion: #SelenaIsBackParty. The posts trended on Twitter for a little while on Saturday.

As we wrote recently, Selena announced in August that she’d be taking some time off to focus on her health, and try to get her lupus under control.

“Around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” she shared in a statement to E! News. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

She put a pause on her Revival Tour and has avoided red carpets events and public appearances.
