We can’t get enough of Selena Gomez carrying a puppy around New York City
We don’t know about you, but photos of puppies is an all-purpose salve for almost anything. Listen, go to the movies and experience pure terror for two hours while watching It and then come home and decompress by gazing upon the face of Selena Gomez’s new puppy Charlie, the Cavalier King Charles spaniel.
Gomez got a new puppy and like most celebrities, she shunned a leash and simply carried her little guy around New York City.
But how did Gomez come to meet little Charlie?
Gomez and boyfriend Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd), in case you weren’t aware of his given name), went shopping for puppies on September 2nd, 2017, which is when little Charlie stole Gomez’s heart.

Selena went back to the pet store on September 5th, possibly to solidify the deal with her new furbaby.
Now she’s walking around New York City with a cute little spaniel on her arm.

Fans seem to think Gomez has adopted the puppy WITH her boyfriend, Tesfaye. Regardless of the dog’s custody agreement, we’re just coo’ing over the cuteness.
We’re happy Gomez has a furbaby to love, especially after her admission that she underwent a kidney transplant this summer. There’s nothing quite like the love of a dog to nurse you back to life.
