Selena Gomez’s go-to outfit is so easy to recreate—and will make you look pulled together in seconds

Given her collaboration with Coach, Selena Gomez knows a thing or two about fashion. The “Back To You” singer recently launched a new activewear collection with Puma called Strong Girl, and in a new interview with Elle, she dished on her SG x PUMA campaign and her style inspiration. As for her go-to outfit when she’s off-duty? A simple floral dress with sneakers.

“I buy dresses. You know those little pretty floral dresses? I’m crazy about them, so I have tons of them. That’s my go-to. Anywhere I go, I just throw my hair in a bun and put that little dress on and some sneakers, she said.

Who says you need to compromise style for comfort? And the best part? The singer’s go-to outfit can be easily emulated by shoppers who aren’t exactly on a Coach budget.

Gomez’s Puma campaign includes the tagline “strong inside out,” and the singer also revealed her outfit-of-choice when she wants to feel empowered.  She said, “Every time I have a turtleneck on with some high-waisted pants, I feel like I can dominate. I feel like I’m a woman. It’s funny how you can put something on and it can make you feel that way, but that’s the only thing that makes me feel that way.”

The Hotel Transylvania star also characterized her personal style as “moody,” constantly changing, and inspired by the arts.

“I guess I’m so moody, so I’ll watch "Almost Famous" and then I’ll want to dress like Kate Hudson for the week, or I’ll watch "Marilyn" and I’ll see something that I want to wear that’s all '50s style. I think that’s probably why I’m an actress, because I’m like…different personalities [laughs]. But it’s just fun. I love dressing up, she said.

Selena’s Puma collection drops on December 12th. As for us? We’ll be recreating that go-to floral dress with comfortable sneakers ensemble asap.
