Selena Gomez gave Dove Cameron the best advice about how to connect with fans
Oh, the joy we feel when our favorite stars are in cahoots! Former Disney star Selena Gomez gave some meaningful advice to Disney Channel’s Liv and Maddie star Dove Cameron about connecting with her fans, and we’re here for all of it. In an interview with People, Dove shared that she sat down with the “Hands To Myself” singer when she was 16 and just getting her start on the network.
According to Dove, Selena is just as great as we imagined. Dove had nothing but nice things to say about the mini-mogul, and even considers her to be “the most amazing human!”
And now at the age of 21, Dove thinks that this still holds true.
“She was so lovely," Dove said. "We ended up just, like, barefoot on the floor in her kitchen. She was, like, ‘[The] most important thing is that you never deviate from your authenticity. You’re just open, you’re bare with your fans.’

The Liv and Maddie star is at the tail end of her five-year series run. What’s next for Dove is still under wraps. But, if she follows Selena’s advice, we’re sure the actress is going to be crazy successful in whatever she does.
