Selena Gomez, Britney Spears, and 22 more of our fave stars just released a beautiful tribute song for Orlando

The world is still reeling from the shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida that occurred last month, and everyone is trying to make sense of it all. Some of our favorite stars are stepping up and releasing singles as a tribute to the victims, and there’s a brand new one out today called “Hands” that’s actually a pretty big deal.
That’s because 24 big stars in music (including the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles) have come together to record a brand new song called “Hands” as a charity single that will benefit the victims of the shooting; it’s going to be available exclusively on iTunes, and proceeds from all purchases will go to GLAAD, the Equality Florida Pulse Victims Fund, and the LGBT Community Center of Central Florida.
The song is a collaboration between Interscope Records and GLAAD, and The Hollywood Reporter says that all the stars who appear on the single recorded their parts from across the country — from their homes, studios, and even tour buses. Justin Tranter, who co-wrote Justin Bieber’s hit song “Sorry,” wrote “Hands,” and told The Hollywood Reporter, “We assigned everybody what we thought would be the best part for their voice and we asked them all to sing an additional part, just in case. But everybody got it done in time so we ended up with extra vocals.”
The full list of people who helped out with the track is long and impressive. Here it is: Mary J Blige, Jason Derulo, Britney Spears, Tyler Glenn, Selena Gomez, Halsey, Ty Herndon, Imagine Dragons, Juanes, Adam Lambert, Mary Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles, Kacey Musgraves, MNEK, Alex Newell, P!nk, Prince Royce, Nate Ruess, RuPaul, Troye Sivan, Jussie Smollett, Gwen Stefani, and Meghan Trainor.
