No matter what project she’s working on or what is going on in her life, she always seems to be rocking a cool look that we suddenly really want to copy! That’s why we’re loving this awesome behind the scenes Instagram photo that Selena just posted. Although there isn’t a ton of a context for the photo, we honestly don’t need it.

We’re loving everything about this photo! Selena’s hair is so voluminous and on point, and the wave up front seriously reminds of so many glam old school Hollywood actresses. Add to that her glam makeup, simple jewelry, the great boyfriend shirt she’s wearing, and the candid nature of the photo, and we’re getting some serious Marilyn Monroe vibes. Way to go Selena! This is kind of the perfect backstage photo.
We’re also very happy to see some Instagram activity from Selena because she hasn’t been posting much lately. In August, she took a break from her tour to focus on her mental health and managing her lupus. Since then, she has been exercising a lot of self-care in the form of staying out of the public eye and taking breaks from social media and her phone. While we are so into her doing that, we’re still really glad to see her back!
