Selena Gomez announced her first performance post-surgery, and here’s how you can watch

It’s only been a few months since Selena Gomez underwent a kidney transplant, but she’s already announced the date of her first post-surgery performance. We honestly wouldn’t have been surprised if the singer had decided to take extended time off (because, again, the whole kidney transplant), so we are both thrilled and inspired that she’s getting back to work so fast.

Selena Gomez will perform at the American Music Awards on November 19th.

According to reports, Gomez will be performing her new hit single ‘Wolves.’ The song, which she collaborated on with producer Marshmello, dropped just a few days ago alongside a super cool Visualizer. Gomez has performed numerous times at the AMAs, and her acts have consistently brought the house down. Who could forget her searing rendition of ‘Same Old Love’ from 2014?

Gomez has been remarkably candid about her ongoing medical issues. Ever since she was diagnosed with Lupus, the singer has been a passionate advocate for others suffering from the disease. Gomez received a kidney transplant this summer from her close friend Francia Raisa, and for the most part she’s been laying low. But she’s getting back into the swing of things, releasing three hit singles and gearing up for what sounds like a sensational performance.

We’re delighted that Gomez feels ready to return to the stage. November can’t come soon enough! The show will be airing on ABC at 8 p.m ET.
