You HAVE to see this married couple of 57-years’ “Notebook”-inspired photo shoot
OMG, we found it — the story that proves true love DOES exist in places other than the movies!
Let me give you a little background info here: Clemma and Sterling Elmore, basically the real-life Noah and Allie (especially after this photo shoot), got married 57-years ago after just dating for FOUR months. In an interview with ABC News, Clemma said, “He said the first time that he laid eyes on me that he said ‘That’s the girl I’m going to marry.’”
Except, she actually beat him to the punch! When the pair was listening to a radio show, a man proposed to his girlfriend on air. As a joke, she repeated it back to him and he actually said yes! “And he says ‘yes.’ And I thought ‘Oh, did he mean that?’” she said. “I didn’t want to ask him. I wanted him to ask me.”
Fast forward 57-years later, and they’ve blessed us with the story that will actually probably inspire the next Nicholas Sparks novel and also these AMAZING photos shot by Stacey Welch-Christ. Take a look below and grab some tissues while you’re at it!
