The season four ‘House of Cards’ trailer catches us up on every unpleasant moment

Last night’s Golden Globe Awards weren’t just about beautiful outfits and incredible stars, but the entertainment industry in general. That’s why it was the perfect time and place to debut something we had all been waiting for: the trailer for House of Cards, which returns for its fourth season on March 4th.

We don’t get much in the way of new footage. Instead, this trailer catches us up on the past, in particular, every unsavory moment that Frank Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey, went through in order to achieve his success. These moments start as early as the first episode, and come in flashes as he explains what it takes to be a leader. “They say we get the leaders we deserve,” he explains. “America deserves Frank Underwood.”

We don’t know about that, but we know that we deserve a chance to finally resume the story we can’t seem to tear ourselves away from. Watch the trailer below!
