Searches for white pantsuits are at all-time high, proving we’re in a #PantsuitNation
If you thought becoming the first woman president of the United States was the only way Hillary Clinton might make history today, think again. Thanks to her famous (and famously contentious) wardrobe staple, Hillary has single handedly brought back the white pantsuit.
According to Lyst, an e-commerce site, searches for women’s pantsuits on that platform have risen more than 460% since January. And after Clinton donned a white pantsuit at the Democratic National Convention in July — a nod to American suffragists who often wore white while fighting for the right to vote — suits in that shade rocketed to #1 in popularity on the site.
