Sean Hayes is all of us when we have too much sugar during the holidays

Sean Hayes just officially gave us our favorite Christmas card with this fun video he posted on Facebook yesterday. The Will & Grace actor teamed up with his husband, Scott Icenogle, to capture exactly what it feels like when you overload on sugar during the holidays in the most hilarious and festive way possible.

The video begins with something that is all too familiar to us: standing in the kitchen next to a huge display of holiday goodies. “Just one,” you say, snagging a cookie. But once you start, you can’t stop. Hayes begins shoving every single treat into his mouth until he’s just eating straight sugar. He’s an animal who can’t be tamed, and that’s when the music starts.

This sugar high has transported him into a hopped-up Christmas wonderland. He runs in circles, dances with donuts, and basically personifies what a Christmas sugar high feels like, all while lip-syncing to Barbara Streisand’s rendition of “Jingle Bells.”

The video calms down by the end with heartwarming holiday wishes from Hayes and Icenogle, bringing this digital Christmas card to a conclusion while simultaneously outdoing every other card that was sent this year. We forgive them, though, because this video is just too amazing.
