Scott Patterson, Liza Weil, and Sean Gunn from “Gilmore Girls” chatted with Jimmy Fallon last night, and it was amazing

As we all know by now, Jimmy Fallon has morphed into quite a Gilmore Girls fan. So, he was probably thrilled when Gilmore Girls stars Scott Patterson, Liza Weil, and Sean Gunn stopped by to discuss Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life. (You’ve probably heard about it by now, right? It hits Netflix in hours, you guys.)

While on The Tonight Show set, the stars talked a bit about the revival, and what the show has meant to them.

"I've been lobbying for it for years," Patterson — who plays Luke Danes — said to Fallon. "The fans sort of see it as a religion. Its not just a show to them"

Isn’t it comforting to see them all together?

Weil also talks about her time on How To Get Away With Murder, which Fallon is also a fan of. In his eyes, Weil deserves an Emmy for flawlessly taking on two pretty incredible roles.

Previously, Fallon had stated that during his initial watch of Gilmore Girls (which started not too long ago) Weil’s overachieving character of Paris Geller was definitely his favorite. In all honesty, we can’t imagine anyone but Weil in Paris’s shoes.

The cast also talks about the famous “last four words.”

Weil and Patterson know what they are, but Gunn wants it to be a surprise. (But as he pinpoints, they should be “Kirk is your overlord.”) Weil notes that these pressing words are, in all honesty, bigger than all of us.

There’s also a clip at the end! A real, full clip!

We can’t wait to travel back to Stars Hollow after wrapping up Thanksgiving. Jimmy Fallon’s interview just made us even more excited to watch our friends back in action.
