Scheana Shay Dishes on the Raquel Leviss Scuffle for the First Time

“My hands ended up on her after she grabbed my wrist,” says Shay of her “Vanderpump Rules” co-star.

Vanderpump Rules cast member Scheana Shay shed more light on her fiery feud with Raquel Leviss, one that sparked rumors surrounding a turbulent altercation that took place after a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Fans of her podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, got a first-person perspective from the show’s host, who was been accused of punching Leviss and issued with a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO).

Shay broke her silence on her explosive reaction to news of Leviss and Tom Sandoval’s illicit affair, which involved the restaurant owner cheating on his girlfriend, Ariana Madix.

According to official legal reports from Leviss, Shay physically assaulted her co-star after the affair was revealed during the talk show, hosted by Andy Cohen. Leviss decided to take legal action by issuing a restraining order, claiming Shay “pushed her against a brick wall… resulting in injuries to the back of her head” and that Shay “punched” Leviss so hard it caused “swelling and blurred vision.”

The former beauty queen provided photos of the injuries as evidence to LA Superior Court, as collected by Page Six.

While the Vanderpump Rules star issued the lawsuit back in early March, Shay noted on her podcast that Leviss didn’t “show up” for their court date on Mar. 29 to discuss further legal ramifications, and that the TRO filing was officially dismissed, allowing her to finally discuss her side of the story.

“There were a lot of red flags,” Shay admitted, regarding how she didn’t put the pieces of the Sandoval-Leviss-Madix affair together until the news broke on Mar. 3.

Shay went on to admit she was upset by the news that Leviss and Sandoval were involved behind Madix’s back, but that she had “no words because nothing was getting through her.”

The physical element came under question after Leviss allegedly came too close for Shay’s personal comfort, after filming their interview with Cohen.

My hands ended up on her after she grabbed my wrist… When she touched me, I was enraged,” Shay explained in the conversation with co-star Lala Kent. “Like, ‘Get off me. Get out of my space. I don’t want you anywhere near me.’ I needed her away from me in that moment.”

“Scheana pushed Rachel but only after Rachel grabbed her wrist, and Rachel did not suffer a concussion,” Neama Rahmani, lawyer for Shay, admitted in a statement to Page Six. (Rachel, not Raquel, is reportedly Leviss’ legal first name.) He also claimed that his client “decided not to show up” because she “realized that she would lose in court.” Rahmani referred to Leviss by her legal first name, not her stage name, throughout his statement, per Page Six.

“Raquel broke a piece of my heart,” Shay emotionally confessed, saying how defensive she was of Leviss at other points in time. “What do I get? A TRO.”

“I can go to sleep hopefully well for the first time tonight knowing this is dismissed and behind me,” Shay added.
