Sarah Paulson can only tease one thing about her “American Horror Story” character for Season 7, and honestly, same
Once again, this season of American Horror Story is shrouded in secrecy. However, unlike last year — and the infamous Roanoke marketing scheme — for AHS Season 7, we know a few things. We know that it’s going to revolve around the events of the 2016 presidential election, and Evan Peters has color-changing hair. Aside from that, everything else is still under lock and key.
However, Sarah Paulson is able to tease one thing about her character: She’s very tired.
Not like, the character is very tired, but Sarah Paulson herself. In an interview with Gold Derby, the long time AHS actress reveals that while she played *three* different characters during Season 6, it’s really Season 7 that is taking a toll on her.
"I can't get killed on set by Ryan [Murphy] for this, [and] I don't know if I cay say something about my character, but what I can tell you is I've never been more tired in my life," she explains. "[I've never felt like this] on any season on this show, and we are only...they're jumping around a little bit to help me be able to do [Steven Spielberg's movie The Papers] at the same time, so we're a little bit out of order. But we're basically on Episode 2. I've never been so tired emotionally, physically, intellectually, any of it. It's harrowing to say the least right out of the gate."
Well that is…the opposite of refreshing to hear considering everything Paulson has done in the past on AHS. Supposedly, Season 7 is a very real ripped-from-the-headlines take on the aftermath of the 2016 election, and the events actually pick up on election night.
Nothing concrete is known about Paulson’s character, but knowing that playing her is exhausting just makes us more excited to see what kind of chaos unfolds when AHS returns this fall.
