Sarah Michelle Gellar did “Buffy” trivia and it didn’t turn out like you’d think

Sarah Michelle Gellar, star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, sat down with women-centric site SheKnows recently to have her knowledge of the show put to the test. However, there was a catch…

For every wrong answer that Gellar gives, her friend and founder of Foodstirs, Galit Laibow, had to chew a piece of gum.

It seems like it would be a pretty fair trade off. After all, Gellar was the star of the show. So it shouldn’t be too difficult for her to remember all sorts of Buffy trivia. Right?

Well, sort of.

It turns out that Gellar didn’t remember as much as she thought she would about certain details in the show. Although there wasn’t an extensive amount of questions, Gellar herself admitted that coming up with answers was going to be a struggle!

It’s a given that some of the production related trivia (looking at you, phlebotinum) would be hard for any cast member to answer, but Gellar fell flat on a question about Buffy’s relationship with Angel. What?! That’s a HUGE deal!

"Were you on the show?," Laibow asks.

However, Gellar also answered her fair share of questions correctly.

Though hardcore fans might be surprised by the video, it’s worth noting that it’s been thirteen years since the show concluded. Gellar has kept plenty busy since then, so it’s fair that she doesn’t recall everything. Her memory might be hazy, but she’s still our Buffy!
