Sarah Jessica Parker finally let us know whether there’s going to be a “Hocus Pocus” sequel

We’ve been crossing our fingers for a Hocus Pocus sequel since the movie came out in 1993. But it seems as though we may not have crossed hard enough, because there still aren’t plans to recreate the magic.

In a new interview with Sirius XM’s Jenny Hutt, Sarah Jessica Parker crushed our ’90s Halloween-loving hearts when she answered the question we’ve all been dying to know the answer to: Will there be a Hocus Pocus sequel?

“Thus far, no plans,” Parker said, ruining our present day hopes and dreams. So as of now, it’s Hocus NO-cus, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be plans in the future.

Parker also said there aren’t currently plans for Sex and the City 3.

“What’s the latest on the Sex and the City 3?” Hutt asked.

Parker replied, “A really close friend of Michael Patrick [King, the show’s writer and producer] just texted my very best friend yesterday and said ’Do you know when they might make Sex and the City 3?′ because he wants to go have fun! There are currently no plans. I am not being cagey or withholding — you would see through that.”

We’ll keep crossing our fingers for both. And maybe throw in some toes.
