So, it’s no secret that Sarah Jessica Parker is best known as Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, but we’re starting to wonder if the overlap between SJP and Carrie is more significant that we’d originally have guessed. One of the most iconic things about Carrie Bradshaw was her loud, often gaudy sense of style that was, at the same time, so perfectly her that we kind of loved it anyway. Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out in New York the other day rocking a look that is SO Carrie we had to do a double take to make sure we weren’t actually looking at a screencap from Sex and the City.

Like, girl is channeling Carrie HARD.

From the loud pattern mixing to the uber cool midi length of the dress to those white tights allllll the way down to those incredible shoes, this is just… like, SJP *must* have gone through her closet thinking WWCBD, right? RIGHT?

And you can tell she was totally feeling this look, too. We also totally love that chain necklace — the colorful prints already have enough competition, so it’s a nice, simple touch that doesn’t draw a lot of attention away from everything else going on in the outfit.

We’re also super into her shoes. Are they metallic? Are they glittery? We’re not sure, but either way we want them in our lives and closets ASAP, thanks.
