Sarah Hyland is starring in a Netflix movie about music festivals, which is perfect for her
Sarah Hyland is already having a wonderfully busy summer. Between her announcement that she’ll be playing Lisa Houseman in the upcoming remake of Dirty Dancing to absolutely slaying at the Finding Dory premiere, she can seriously do no wrong. And with the recent news that she’ll be starring in an upcoming Netflix film XOXO which will premiere in August, it’s just more proof that this girl has got it going on.
The film’s story will center around a DJ who has the chance to perform at a huge EDM music festival last minute and the ragtag group of friends (in an absolutely stacked ensemble cast) who do their best to get him there in time. The role will be perfectly up her alley since the actress is no stranger to music festivals herself. Her posts from Coachella were filled with playful, gorgeous, Boho looks.
Playing the role of music-lover will certainly not be a stretch for her. Though, TBH, she’s talented enough to play anything she wants. This role just sounds like it’s a great mix of two things she already loves.
And even though she may not be playing a musician herself in the film, she definitely isn’t shy about her own burgeoning musical talent. And who knows, maybe being a part of a movie all about a music festival will encourage her to get onstage with that guitar someday herself?
