Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg are freaking comedy gold in these new Golden Globes promos
We were beyond stoked when we first heard that Emmy-nominated Killing Eve actress Sandra Oh and comedian/Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg would be hosting the 2019 Golden Globes. Oh and Samberg are two of our favorite humans and are both incredibly talented performers…however, we were admittedly curious (and, perhaps, even anxious) to see if the two stars would work well as a team. And it looks like we can rest easy, because NBC has released several promos featuring the duo, and they crush it.
The first promo, released on December 29th, features Oh and Samberg attempting to pull off a “best friend handshake” (to disastrous results).

The second and most recent, released on December 30th, features the pair listing off increasingly absurd words and phrases as they look intensely into the camera.

Okay, we officially cannot wait for the show. We’re thinking there’s a chance Sandra and Andy will reach Tina and Amy levels of awesome.
The 2019 Golden Globes airs Sunday, January 6th at 8 p.m. ET.
