Samantha Bee’s interview with President Obama looks as epic as we expected

Samantha Bee is the first female late-night host to interview President Barack Obama in a forthcoming clip that will air Monday, and based on the teaser it’s everything we wanted and more.

In the “annual Halloween presidential interview,” the host of Full Frontal With Samantha Bee discusses Halloween costumes with Obama, declaring she’s dressing as a witch.

In a clip shared by CNN on Friday night, Bee tells him “I’m a woman in television and I’m over 40, so I’m already in costume, when he remarks that her ensemble is not in fact a witch costume.

“I’m dressed up as what happens when young people vote, Obama says, to which Bee replies, “Someone gets really old really fast? poking fun at his hair, which has grayed rapidly over the course of his time in office. Gesturing to his head, she asks “Is that like white spray paint, or fun Halloween cobwebs up there? “Sam I’m still president for about three months. Careful, he responds.

Bee, a former correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, has risen to a comedy star by her own right. She has been particularly vocal about her anti-Trump stance on the show, discussing his comments about women and abortion on recent episodes and donning a “Nasty Woman” shirt, The Huffington Post noted.

She was also recently her hilarious self on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, talking about how she cannot wait for the election to end (hear, hear!)
