Definitive proof that Sam Smith’s a HUGE Harry Potter fan
It’s been long suspected, but as of this week, we finally have confirmation that Sam Smith is, indeed, a devout Harry Potter fan.
Earlier this week, Grammy Award winner shared a picture of his audience holding their phones and lighters up, likening the scene to “when Dumbledore dies and everyone holds up their wands!!!!” Oh, the specificity!

This isn’t the first time Sam’s clued us in on his Harry Potter obsession. Four weeks ago, Smith shared this “99 problems but a snitch ain’t one” meme:
And, in case you’re still not convinced, last May, Sam Smith received authentic Harry Potter wands from his sisters for his birthday, and even posed with the magical device on Instagram. “My sisters are actually the f***ing BEST,” he said on Instagram. “They got me authentic Harry Potter wands!!!!!!!!!! Best present EVERRRRRRR”. For the record, we agree!
