Everything you need to know about Leslie Bibb, Sam Rockwell’s girlfriend
Ready to be reminded of something adorable? When Sam Rockwell accepted his SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his part in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, he made a quick shoutout to his girlfriend of 11 years right on stage.
“My beloved Leslie Bibb who puts up with me. I love you, baby. I love you,” he said, and the whole world collectively burst into tears. Bibb is the ever-supportive woman cheering on Rockwell at every awards show — including the 2018 Oscars, where Rockwell is nominated for Best Supporting Actor — but did you know that she has quite the colorful acting resume herself?

1She began her career as a model.
In 1990, at just 16 years old, Leslie Bibb was crowned the winner of a nationwide model search sponsored by The Oprah Winfrey Show and Elite Model Management.
2She made her big screen debut in 1997, with the biopic, Private Parts.
After dabbling in small TV roles on shows like Pacific Blue and Home Improvement, Bibb’s first film role came with Private Parts, in which she played a WNBC tour guide.
3Her big break came with Popular, a popular teenage comedy-drama from The WB.
Bibb played a character named Brooke McQueen, a high school cheerleader who will do anything to maintain her popularity. Her role led her to win a Teen Choice Award for Television Choice Actress. From there, she booked role after role, appearing in shows like ER, Line of Fire, Crossing Jordan, and CSI: Miami.

4She won a best actress award for her role in Miss Nobody.
In 2010, Bibb starred and co-produced Miss Nobody, an independent dark comedy film. Her performance won her the Best Actress Award at the 26th Boston Film Festival.
5She supports great causes.
She’s a supporter of Friends of El Faro, a non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of the children of Casa Hogar Sion, an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. In 2010, she served as a national spokesperson for Life Insurance Awareness Month, a LIFE Foundation initiative.
6Sam Rockwell is the first celebrity she ever dated.
Bibb and Rockwell met years ago at the lobby of the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles and has been inseparable ever since. The couple starred in Iron Man 2 together. The secret to their long-term romance? “Communication and good sex, and a healthy sense of humor.”
