Sally Beauty is expanding their natural hair selection and we are SO here for it
Ditching harsh chemicals goes a long way to nourishing and repairing hair. Seriously, it only takes one wash to feel a difference. Your strands will be more than grateful for every small step taken toward an all-natural routine, but here’s the annoying part — the good stuff is hard to find.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, Sally Beauty will start catering better to natural hair and to those of us who are #TeamSulfateFree. Starting in January, you’ll be able to shop natural hair care brands BCL Naturals and Nature’s Gate in Sally Beauty Supply stores.
BCL Naturals will debut at Sally with two lines, Repair & Reconstruct and Intense Hydration. Repair & Reconstruct includes a shampoo, conditioner, leave-in treatment mist, and deep-conditioning masque featuring carrot seed oil, sea kelp, and aloe vera, and quinoa.
The Intense Hydration line sounds like heaven for tight curls and coils, featuring avocado oil, lavender oil, and soy protein in a shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioning cream, and daily mist. The prices rage from $10.99 to $11.99, so they’re definitely worth a try. (Plus, Sally has a really good return program if the products don’t work out.)
If the name Nature’s Gate sounds familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen the brand on shelves in stores like Whole Foods and Sprouts. We’re crossing our fingers that their Pomegranate + Sunflower shampoo and conditioner make it to our local Sally Beauty. Seriously, when has pomegranate anything let you down?
