The first look at Sabrina and Harvey in Netflix’s reboot is here, and this wins the internet today
OH. MY. HARVEY. KINKLE. Are you sitting down for this? If not, you might want to, because we have some extremely magical news. We just received the best glimpse at Netflix’s untitled Sabrina reboot, based on the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comics: The first look at Sabrina and Harvey from the out-of-this-world series is here and they are, taking a cue from Salem, picture purr-fect.
The photo — which has the pair ADORABLY HOLDING HANDS because, sometimes, TV dreams come true — arrives shortly after Ross Lynch’s casting as Ms. Spellman’s beau was announced in mid-March. Everyone’s favorite teenage witch, meanwhile, will be played by Mad Men alum Kiernan Shipka, with Lucy Davis as Aunt Hilda, Miranda Otto as Aunt Zelda, and *this* black cat as Salem (who, sadly, is not *my* black cat, but that’s something to take up with the cast and crew another day).
"Well, it’s out there," EP Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa wrote on Twitter. "A 1st look at Harvey and Sabrina from the 'Chilling Adventures of #Sabrina.' ADORBS, right?"
YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN. And does anyone else feel totally transported to the Other Realm? That can’t just be us, right? Also, honestly, they are really living up to the impressive footsteps left by Melissa Joan Hart and Nate Richert. And that’s a seriously difficult act to follow.

So, what else can we expect from Netflix’s reboot, which already has a two-season, 20-episode order, other than #Harvina being the MOST adorable?
As a refresher, “Untitled Sabrina Project imagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. Tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.”
We absolutely cannot wait for the reboot to land on Netflix.
