Ryan Reynolds says he typically checks in with Blake Lively before doing this one specific thing

When you’re coupled up, parenting is a team effort. And that’s why we’re so charmed to hear that some of the hilarious parenting tweets from Ryan Reynolds are run past his wife, Blake Lively, before they’re blasted onto the internet.

While Reynolds is a hilarious guy, he’s been known for being a little too on-the-nose with his thoughts and feelings surrounding his two children, Ines and James. But knowing that their mom is fully aware of what circulates is even better. It shows that above all else, this couple is all about respect.

Reynolds chatted about his account with Entertainment Tonight while promoting his new film The Hitman’s Bodyguard.

"Some of the ones about our daughter or parenting ones or [with] advice no one should take, I run past her, in case she objects," he said. "Otherwise it's mostly stuff done on like, an airplane, flying somewhere."

Reynolds and Lively have been pretty private about their daughters, and while we know these tweets are all funny jokes, it’s still nice to get a little bit of insight into how things are going in their household. For example, we know that Reynolds might be the most fun dad of all time.

We have a feeling that James and Ines will adopt Ryan Reynolds’ sense of humor when they get a little older.
