Ryan Reynolds said goodbye to the “Deadpool 2” cast and crew in an emotional Insta post

And that’s a wrap! Ryan Reynolds finished filming Deadpool 2 and decided to thank a few of his favorite crew members on Instagram. Whether or not they’ll all be back for a possible Deadpool 3 is still up in the air, but we can imagine it’s hard to say goodbye regardless.

We can imagine they’ve leaned on each other a lot these past few months, as they’ve gone through a lot together. This past August, the crew witnessed a tragic accident that killed a stunt woman who lost control of a motorcycle during a scene that was being filmed. At the time, Reynolds acknowledged the loss by saying “We’re heartbroken, shocked and devastated…but recognize nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment.”

Reynolds has a way with words, for sure. As for his farewell post, Reynolds decided to include bit of humor at the end.

Reynolds chose eight interesting photos to share, two which seem to pay homage to one very special Golden Girl.

"Thank you to our beloved Captain, Mr. @davidmleitch... words are too clumsy to properly acknowledge your giant heart and talent," Reynolds wrote. "I love my hometown of Vancouver and our obscenely gifted crew. From our PA’s, (who are first in and last out) to our set decorators and prop department, riddling this film with Easter Eggs in almost every scene... Thank you."

Since production assistants don’t often get the thanks they deserve, it’s sweet that Reynolds made sure to give them a shout out and acknowledge their hard work.

As for the people who work on sets and props, we’re pretty curious to see all of the Easter Eggs they’ve included.

"I already miss being on set," the actor continued. "Which is why I’ve decided to continue shooting the film in my underwear from Josh Brolin’s well appointed living room."

Hey. We’d watch it.
