Ryan Reynolds is sitting exactly where we wish we could at the Golden Globes
Ryan Reynolds is having a freaking excellent year.
He had a critical and commercial hit with his subversive superhero turn in Deadpool. He got a Hollywood star a couple weeks ago. He’s also killing it in his personal life, as hubs to Blake Lively, and dad to James and Ines.
Ryan Reynolds is ALSO nominated for a Golden Globe tonight for his portrayal of foul-mouthed superhero Deadpool. He’s got some stiff competition in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Musical or Comedy category. You know, that OTHER Ryan, who sings, dances, and oozes charm for days in La La Land? Still, it’s entirely possible that Reynolds ends the night a Golden Globe winner.
It’s an honor just to be nominated, of course. It’s also an honor to get to sit at a table with a bunch of celebrities you idolize. And in the regard, it looks like Reynolds has one of the best seats in the house.
