Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were featured on a “Humans of NY” post, and things got adorable real fast
Just when you think they can’t get anymore adorable, Ryan Reynolds sings the praises of Blake Lively in some new way, and we have to raise the bar for just how much these two are in love with each other.
In this latest swoon-worthy show of affection, Reynolds and Lively, who both attended the Met Gala last night (May 1st), were approached by the creator behind the famous Humans of New York social media account.
Of course, we know that Ryan grabs any opportunity offered to gush about Blake, and it appears, in this case, that he did just that.
In an adorable post on the Humans of New York Instagram account, Reynolds explains how his wife, Blake, taught him to be a more empathetic person, and it’s lovely.
In the lengthy quote, Ryan reveals that Blake helps him remember the past with fondness.
“She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy. She’ll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were five or six years old And she’s made me a more empathetic person,” he said.
Continuing, the Deadpool actor said that Blake, whom he married in 2012 and shares two adorable children with, stood by him when his father passed away, and was responsible for allowing him to find closure on that relationship.
"I had a very fractured relationship with my father," he admitted. "Before he died, she made me remember things I didn’t want to remember. She made me remember the good times.

Seriously, if this doesn’t give you ultimate #CoupleGoals then we don’t know what will.
At the 2017 Met Gala, which was in honor of the Costume Institute’s new exhibition on the work of Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo, Lively wore a gold Atelier Versace gown, complete with a peacock-like feathered train, and it was stunning. What’s more, she and Ryan wore matching pops of blue for the occasion.
Seriously, they are the most awwwwdaorable.
