Ryan Gosling gushing over Eva Mendes is giving us #relationshipgoals
It’s kind of a bummer when the man of your dreams is in a relationship with someone else, but in the case of Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, we might make an exception.
The pair are generally pretty quiet about their relationship, when it comes to the media. But Gosling couldn’t hold back when talking about spending Christmas with his 1-year-old daughter Esmeralda to Hello! Canada.
“This will be our first Christmas where [Esmeralda is] sort of taking it all in, so that’s exciting,” Gosling said of his new family.
Obviously we love that he’s stoked about being a dad, but really there’s nothing about Gosling we don’t love. But when he went on to say that Esmeralda’s mom, Mendes, is the person he’s “supposed to be with,” we got a major cause of the awwwwwwws.
What makes him love her so much? “That she’s Eva Mendes,” Gosling said. “There’s nothing else I’m looking for.”
Dead, totally dead. That’s the perfect answer. Perhaps Gosling could point us to some of his brothers or good friends who are exactly like him? Major sigh.
The one major drawback to being Eva Mendes, according to Ryan Gosling? Apparently she’s a big fan of Hanson’s Christmas album. “No disrespect to Hanson, they’re very talented kids, but I think I’ve heard that record enough. I’m sure it will be on a loop this Christmas as well,” Gosling said.
