Ryan Gosling talks about his love Eva Mendes as a mother and our hearts can’t handle it
In your daily Ryan Gosling news, the father of two is actually perfect. La La Land actor, Gosling talks about fatherhood and his girlfriend Eva Mendes and their kids and our hearts are bursting.
Gosling is the January cover star for GQ and in the magazine he revealed that having kids is everything people talk about and more. Prepare yourselves ladies, these quotes may make you go weak in the knees, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
"Your whole life, you hear what it's like to have kids, and all the clichés are true," Gosling told GQ in his cover interview. "I felt I knew that everything would be different, but until you experience that, there's no way to really know what people mean."
The 36-year-old actor and girlfriend Eva Mendes have two daughters together, Esmerelda and Amada, and they couldn’t be happier. In fact Gosling describes Mendes and her mothering skills in the mag and our hearts can’t handle the sweetness.
“Eva’s the dream mother, and they’re the dream babies,” Gosling told the publication. “It’s like a dream that I’m having right now,” he continued. “I’m dreaming it all.”
We know there’s no such thing as a perfect man, but we’re pretty sure The Nice Guys actor is pretty darn close.
Gosling also opened up about how fatherhood has changed him for the better and it’s too adorable.
"When you meet your kids you realize that they deserve great parents," he said. "And then you have your marching orders and you have to try and become the person that they deserve."
Despite his excitement about fatherhood now, Gosling revealed he never really thought about being a parent until it was right there in front of him.”I didn’t have a romanticized idea of it…It came about in a very surprising and kind of organic way,” the actor explained.
“There was nothing kind of premeditated about it, you know. It just suddenly was: My life had changed. And thank God it did.”
Okay, where do we get a Ryan Gosling of our own? We all need a man like this in our lives…even if the real deal is already taken.
