Ryan Beatty just opened up about his sexuality on social media

Ryan Beatty has just used social media to reveal a very important, personal thing about himself — he’s gay, and he’s not going to hide it anymore. First, he posted about his sexuality on Instagram, by posting a picture of a balloon that says “GAY POWER” with the caption, “proud to be a raging homosexual. it’s taken 20 years of suffocating in the closet for me to become comfortable enough to say it, but now I can finally breathe. i did it!”

We’re so happy for him, and so glad that he finally feels like he can breathe after 20 years of feeling like he was suffocating while keeping his sexuality a secret. He received numerous tweets of support from his followers on Twitter, and one fan even said they felt encouraged by his bravery and it made them want to come out, as well. Ryan posted that everyone should come out on their own timeline, and encouraged the Twitter user that when the time is ready, they should feel empowered to tell their friends and family.
