Ruth Negga is an angelic vision in white lace at the premiere for “Loving”

Loving is one of those movies you’re going to want to see, even if it might make you cry buckets of tears. It’s based on the true story of Richard and Mildred Loving whose union led to the constitutional amendment lifting the ban on interracial marriage.

The film is already getting some Oscar buzz and we can’t wait to get to know more about Ruth Negga who plays Mildred in the film, who previously starred in the TV shows Preacher and Misfits. From the looks of things, she just might be this award season’s red carpet darling.

For the LA premiere of Loving, Ruth stepped out in a white lace gown by Valentino made modern and with semi-matte, reddish orange lipstick. (Every fashion panelist who’s ever said white lace is too bridal for red carpet, we hope you’re eating your words.)

Ruth’s soft curls and soft smudged brown liner made this a major beauty moment as well. Come on, she looks like she’s about to drop the most fire indie album of 2016.

This isn’t the first home run for Ruth. She slayed so hard in a Prada look at the People Magazine “One’s to Watch” Party that Vogue started to speculate that she would be the next face of the brand.

We can’t wait to see more of Ruth Negga on the red carpet, and if she promises not to be just another mermaid dress-wearing starlet, she’s already totally OWNED awards season.
