Ruth Bader Ginsburg has left the hospital and is already back to work—like the badass she is

Update—November 9th, 9:53 a.m.: Justice Ginsburg was reportedly released from the hospital the morning of Friday, November 9th, after a day of observation. Kathy Arberg, a spokesperson for the court, said Ginsburg “is doing well and plans to work from home today.” Basically, RBG is fierce AF.

It’s been reported that Supreme Court Justice (and feminist icon) Ruth Bader Ginsburg broke three ribs after falling in her office last night, November 7th. A statement released by the Supreme Court states that Ginsburg went home after she fell, but was admitted to the hospital the following morning after experiencing continued discomfort.

Ginsburg, 85, has served on the Supreme Court since 1993, but this isn’t her first health scare. The fierce judge beat colon cancer in 1999 and she underwent heart surgery in 2014.

If there’s one thing we know about RBG, it’s that she’s tough AF—so if anyone will tough this fall out, it’s her. We’re sending her all the healing vibes today, and hoping she feels better as soon as humanly possible.

We’ll continue to monitor this story as it develops.
