“RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 10, Episode 7: Snatch Game returns with the comedic goddess Bianca Del Rio

It’s Week 7 on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10, and you know what means… SNATCH GAME!!! Anticipated by the queens every season, a Snatch Game victory is a highly coveted milestone in the competition. But as Drag Race devotees know, a queen can either soar (Jinkx Monsoon as Little Edie, Kennedy Davenport as Little Richard, Bianca Del Rio as Judge Judy)…or crash and burn (Phi Phi O’Hara as Lady Gaga, Gia Gunn as Kim Kardashian, Tatiana as Ariana Grande). So how did the Season 10 queens fare in the “Christmas for drag queens” (as Monét X Change calls it)?

Season 6 winner Bianca Del Rio visited the queens as they prepared for the challenge, guiding them with her signature quick wit and playful insults. For the tragically uninformed, Snatch Game asks the queens to impersonate a famous woman (usually) in pop culture. In the werk room, Asia O’Hara made everyone nervous with her plans to impersonate Beyoncé, Aquaria expressed her struggle to form sentences, Kameron shared his excitement to use his muscles to his advantage and portray WWE’s Chyna, and Miz Cracker educated the young audience with her plans to be poet and satirist Dorothy Parker.

During the actual Snatch Game (Tony award-winning actress Audra McDonald and model Kate Upton were contestants), Monét X Change, Aquaria, and Eureka were standouts. Monét’s unimpressed Maya Angelou was a GIFT — can we talk about her poem? (If these hoes try to come for me / I surely will cut Bs / I will not hesitate to put thou in a ditch / Cuz Maya Angelou is no punk bitch).

Aquaria may have been nervous in the werk room but she shined as Melania Trump, capturing the Not-My-First-Lady’s stiff, cold blinks and even gifting Ru a box that read “Help Me.”

Eureka’s loud, ridiculous, sassy, and sugared up Honey Boo Boo had Ru, McDonald, and Upton cracking up.

Monique Heart failed to bring the jokes as beloved Congresswoman Maxine Waters — but Asia’s Beyoncé and The Vixen’s Blue Ivy Carter were by far the worst Snatch Game performances of the night. Asia portrayed Queen Bey as uncharacteristically cruel, and when she and The Vixen attempted to improvise with each other as a mother-daughter duo, their interactions were more like awkward screaming matches. (Why do queens keep trying to do Beyoncé on Snatch Game? It never works!)

After the runway (Mermaid Fantasy, a tribute to the divine Bette Midler), Aquaria was named the night’s winner. The Vixen and Monique lip synced for their lives in the Bottom 2 after the majority of the queens said they believed The Vixen should be the one to go home. Yet, Monique was the one who sashayed away when it became obvious she did not know the words to “Cut to the Feeling” by Carly Rae Jepsen (why wouldn’t you learn the words, girl?!).

Watch the next episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race on Thursday at 8 p.m. on VH1 for a tribute to the one and only Cher!
