Rumor has it, Beyoncé and JAY-Z gave their twins these beautiful names

We know that, by now, you’re probably sick of all the rumors about the potential names of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s new babies. But this time around, TMZ has released the names of Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s twins, and it just might be the real deal. Prepare yourselves accordingly.

TMZ reported on June 30th, the same day that JAY-Z released his 13th album, 4:44, that the company that owns the trademarks to Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s names — and is run by the power couple themselves —  filed legal documents to secure the rights to two new names. It’s apparently the same company, BGK Trademark Holdings LLC, that filed paperwork in February 2017 to trademark Blue Ivy’s name again, after an unsuccessful attempt in 2012 (Entertainment Tonight reported in June that it’s still not resolved).

But the Blue Ivy trademark drama is old stuff! What are the new names?!

Well, the two names that Bey and Jay are trying to trademark now are Rumi Carter and Sir Carter.

So cute, right??

The trademarks are allegedly for fragrances, cosmetics, key chains, baby teething rings, strollers, mugs, water bottles, hair ribbons, playing cards, tote bags, sports balls, rattles, and novelty items. So with all those baby items, it sure seems that JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s baby girl and boy have the names Rumi and Sir.

Although no one from the Carter camp has confirmed the names, TMZ is already guessing the inspiration for the potential baby names. Rumi was a Persian poet born in 1207, and the BBC reported in 2014 that he was the best-selling poet in the U.S. It’s also a girl’s name in Japan. Sir is a bit more self-explanatory, as it’s a title given to knights, and baby Sir’s parents are pretty much music royalty.

While we’re still waiting on official confirmation that the twins were born, we’ll spend that time thinking about these two new beautiful and unique names that Beyoncé and JAY-Z (most likely) came up with.
