Rudy Giuliani said this about terrorism, leaving the world to wonder, “WTF?!”
At a Donald Trump campaign event in Ohio this week, former mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani slammed the Obama administration in a comment that seemed to suggest some severe memory loss.
“Before Obama came along, we didn’t have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attacks inside the United States. They all started when [Hillary] Clinton and Obama got into office.”
Ummm…Mr. Giuliani, have you forgotten September 11th, 2001? The largest attack on U.S. soil ever? Which happened years before Obama even took office?
What makes it all even more bizarre is that Giuliani was literallymayor of New York at the time of the attack. Understandably, his comments have received a lot of backlash on social media.

Jake Menges, a representative from Giuliani’s camp tried to clear the air by telling The Associated Press that Giuliani was referring to the lack of major terrorist attacks after 9/11, but while George W. Bush was still in office.
This unfortunately just feels like yet another instance of a politician using fear to try to get their way — even when the fear doesn’t exactly make any logical sense in the context of, well, actual facts. Hopefully voters will know the difference come November, no matter who they choose!
