Ruby Rose directed and stars in steamy & gritty music video with real life girlfriend from The Veronicas

Ruby Rose directed and stars in The Veronicas’ music video for “On Your Side,” and it’s way too cool for school and too sexy for your screen (as in maybe NSFW). But it’s H-O-double T, HOTT.

The Veronicas are Australian sisters Jessica and Lisa Origliasso. Midway through the new video, Ruby Rose and Jessica get all hot and heavy, and later they get all steamy and wet.

Rose, the model and 30-year-old Orange Is The New Black star, also wrote the video, in addition to directing and starring in it HELLO TRIPLE THREAT.

“When I first heard the song, I was drawn to the lyrics. Some songs tell the first chapter of a story; others only tell the last, but here, I was listening to a full narrative of someone’s sincere experience with love,” Ruby Rose said in her statement about the video.

“It’s a true to life look at the passion and protection of two people falling in love and, ultimately, a love that cannot be broken,” Jessica added.

Rose and Jessica are currently in a relationship in real life, so the sentiment is so #awww worthy.

But we love Ruby’s confession about her original idea for the video: “I threw out the original concept the night before shooting, when I realized how many times they had used cars in previous videos. I wrote the treatment for what stands as the video today as an 11th hour revision.”
