Ruby Rose gushes over her “best friend” Taylor Swift and we have all the feels now
Ruby Rose and Taylor Swift are apparently bffs. WE HAD NO IDEA!
Ruby and her girlfriend attended Taylor’s July 4th party over the weekend and we were all like, “How did Ruby get there!?”
We even went so far as to assume that Taylor’s good friend Uzo Aduba invited Ruby because they are Orange Is the New Black co-stars (and also friends). We thought Ruby was a new Tay friend rather than a core member of the #squad. Well, apparently Ruby and Tay are super close and Ruby was not just some rando plus 1 at Taylor’s party.
Ruby covers the new issue of Marie Claire (looking flawless) and subsequently opens up about the night Taylor presented Ruby with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award at the GLAAD Awards.

When Taylor presented Ruby with that GLAAD award, we thought it was just like any other awards show, i.e. awards show producers just tried to find ANY famous person to hand out an award when in fact, it was an award hand off between BESTIES!
Ruby told Marie Claire how much it meant to receive this award from ONE OF HER BEST FRIENDS.
SINCE DAMN WHEN? We sleuthed the Internet and almost exactly a year ago, Ruby was just crushing on Taylor Swift from afar.
