We’re obsessed with Rowan Blanchard’s updated Audrey Hepburn hair and makeup

Rowan Blanchard isn’t just one of our favorite actors on Girl Meets World (and a total feminist superhero), she’s also become quite the fashion icon. And if there’s one thing a fashion icon knows, it’s how to borrow, copy, and pay homage to the history of fashion.

Pride and Prejudice realness anyone?

This week, Rowan walked the red carpet for the premiere of a short film titled The Realest Real. Directed by Portlandia’s Carrie Brownstein, the film was created for designer KENZO’s Fall/Winter campaign.

To support such a film, the ever-transformational Rowan graced the carpet with Hepburn-esque makeup and hair.

That’s Rowan beside model and GURL TALK founder Abwoa Aboah!

The whole look is actually to die for.

Rowan’s eye makeup and swept-up bun totally reminded us of Audrey Hepburn’s mod cut-crease look around the time of her 1966 movie, How to Steal a Million.

But the most important part of being a fashion icon is paying tribute to your idols! Rowan did just that.

In an Instagram post about the inspiration behind her look, Rowan posted this pic of Hepburn in How to Steal a Million:

Totally mod! We really hope this makeup trend comes back around since it’s totally dramatic, but we do fear for our eyeliner! (We already go through a tube a month!)

Carrie Brownstein’s awesome short is also worth a view, because it stars girl bosses like Natasha Lyonne and Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon:
