The first “Roseanne” revival trailer is here — and welcome back, Conners!

The Oscars have once again arrived and yes, it’s a night that celebrates the best in movies. But, guess what? The awards telecast also offered lots of great stuff in the world of TV too. Like, IDK, the first trailer for the Roseanne revival. I repeat, the FIRST TRAILER FOR THE ROSEANNE REVIVAL!!!

It’s true, the Oscars gave us our best look yet at the highly anticipated return of Roseanne, which features the full original cast — including Roseanne Barr, John GoodmanLaurie Metcalf (an Oscar nominee for Lady Bird!), Lecy Goranson, and Sara Gilbert — because sometimes, the TV gods are nice, generous, and wonderful.

But actually, they really are. Because seriously, who wouldn’t want to see the Conners get the modern treatment?

"The revival will explore life, death and everything in between through the relatable, hilarious and brutally honest lens of the Conner household," an ABC press release describes. "With the inimitable Roseanne at its epicenter, fresh stories that tackle today’s issues and even more laughs from a brilliant cast and crew that haven’t missed a beat, audiences old and new will celebrate the homecoming of America’s favorite working-class family."

Yeah, we’re *SO* here for this modern treatment.

In the Roseanne trailer itself, we see the Conner family during their original run, and the footage is making us beyond nostalgic.

"In the history of television, no family was quite like the Conners," a narrator says, and YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN. "Nothing has changed."

You know what that means?! OG fans should rest assured, because we’re still getting to hang with the Conner family we know and love.

Oh, and we also get a preview of some of the family fun to come. Like, there’s some kind of family cake eating contest and it looks like the best contest ever, and we can’t wait to see that play out in the revival. false

The revival premieres on ABC on March 27th. This goes without saying, but official countdown begins now!
