Ronald Weasley and Chuck Bass are starring in a new show together
Two of our favorite movie and TV characters are joining forces, so things are looking up — at least in the TV world. Ronald Weasley and Chuck bass, AKA Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint and Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick are starring in Crackle’s new series Snatch.
We love when world’s collide, especially when it involves two actors we adore.
Grint and Westwick will star in the upcoming TV version of Snatch, which is based on Guy Ritchie’s 2000 cult film of the same name. The show will have a similar setting to the film, but the characters will be new.
Snatch is inspired by a real-life heist that took place in London. The story focuses on a group of twenty-something hustlers who come across an entire truck load of stolen gold bullion and then find themselves in the high-stakes world of organized crime. Whoopsie.
Grint isn’t just starring in the 10-episode series, he’s also one of the executive producers.
"Creating platform defining content has been a priority for us at Crackle and we couldn't be more proud to add Snatch the tv series to our portfolio," Eric Berger, Crackle's General Manager, said in a statement. "A sexy, action packed powerhouse drama that carries the spirit and energy of the original film."
