Awww. ‘Ron Weasley’ crashed Jimmy Fallon, looking for a shoulder to cry on

Our boy wizard, Harry Potter, celebrates a birthday on July 31st, the big 3-5. So this Friday, be sure to bake a great, big Butterbeer cake and get your hands on some goodies from Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes to celebrate. But maybe don’t invite Ron to your party. Last night, the former Gryffindor Quidditch Keeper stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to lament that it’s, “just always about Harry!”

OK, so it’s not really Ron stumbling out onto the Tonight Show stage. Instead we’ve got Simon Pegg, doing a very good job playing a grown-up Ron who’s maybe had a little too much to drink. Along with being in Harry’s shadow — according to Ron — Hermione just left him (again) for Viktor Krum, so he’s here to sing the blues. Or rather, get the entire audience singing a round of “WEASLEY IS OUR KING.” That should cheer him up, right?

This isn’t the first time Ron has crashed The Tonight Show. He stopped by for Harry’s 33rd birthday to sing him “Happy Birthday,” except that didn’t go according to plan either. Maybe next year things will be better? Or I bet Fallon will let him stop by for his own birthday celebration on March 1st.

Check out Ron’s latest stop at the Tonight Show below. Glad to see he’s still lovingly wearing his Gryffindor robe.
