Here’s the scoop on that gorgeous robe Beyoncé wore for the birth announcement of her twins

Unless you’re actually an alien, you’ve probably noticed there’s only one thing on everyone’s mind right now: Beyoncé. Because in true Bey fashion, she did it again, giving us inspiration and #blessed feelings for eternity when she announced the names of her twins, Sir and Rumi, last night. Just like her pregnancy announcement, the photo in which she announced her said beybies (see what we did there?) also happened to feature extravagant floral arrangements, references to sacred imagery, and of course, the most beautiful fashion of possibly all time.

We bow to designer Alejandro Gómez Palomo of Palomo Spain for the latter, because his creation helped transform Queen Bey into a goddess.

We don’t know too much about the piece, but we do know it was made in the Palomo Spain atelier, which is located in the Spanish village the designer calls home. The robe features jewel tones in the same hues as a psychedelic ocean, and it enhances Bey’s figure in cascading down her back and legs.

This piece feels almost like a hug from the universe, which we’re sure is congratulating itself for creating Beyoncé in the first place.

Palomo Spain is known for its over-the-top designs, which are often ethereal, gender-blurring, and highly sexual. Think two naked bodies being surrounded by an almost-surreal flowing robe, or white lingerie on men finished with a marabou-trimmed robe.

The designer was recently spotlighted in the Dazed 100, where he told the magazine,

"[A]esthetically and sexually, I have never felt that there should be clear distinctions between masculinity and femininity.

Cheers to destroying gender binaries, and additional cheers to dressing Beyoncé while you do so. We hope this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship for the two of them.
